Some Gold Nuggets for Poets and Those Who Love Poetry

“A writer is a writer not because she writes well and easily, because she has amazing talent, or because everything she does is golden. A writer is a writer because, even when there is no hope, even when nothing you do shows any sign of promise, you keep writing anyway.”

Junot Díaz, Professor of Writing, Winner of Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, 2008

What a learning journey becoming a (published) writer! So many aspects to master; from presenting our writing in an absolutely professional manner to choosing the right promotional tools to get our book(s) out there- to the widest possible audience! For me, not so much to pursue big bucks but rather because I believe that I have a message and a literary voice that can inspire, encourage, enlighten and uplift the minds and souls of men and women (and soon children as well)!

As I said before in one of my posts, I want to share this writing journey; from a novice to, what I hope, a seasoned published writer, so you may avoid some of the snags and unnecessary delays and even disasters on the road to becoming a published writer.

And here is that promised “nugget” I discovered:

You can get access to recorded readings by the great poets themselves! What a find! Enjoy!

More to come soon!
